Massachusetts Lottery Players Grabs His Second $1 Million Prize

July 6, 2021

While most lottery players continue to play and try their luck to scoop out a big jackpot, one lucky Massachusetts lottery player won the prize of a lifetime, that too for the second time.

Stephen Toto of Framingham got the chance to enjoy yet another win after scooping a $1 million top prize from a scratch-off game. On December 7, 2017, Toto walked home with one of the $1 million top prizes in the Massachusetts Lottery's "$4,000,000 Payout" instant game. He claimed the prize by opting for a $650,000 lump sum before taxes. While the second windfall was just impulsive.

The lucky winner told the lottery that originally he did not intend on buying a $30 ticket when stopped at the A-1 Gulf gas station on Concord Street in Framingham, but just at the last minute he decided to play "The Fastest Road to $1 Million" game and there was another $1 million top prize for him. Just as the last win, Toto claimed this jackpot also as a one-time payment of $650,000 before taxes.

According to the Massachusetts Lottery, the "The Fastest Road to $1 Million" game offers 122 top prizes of $1 million, or $50,000 a year over 20 years. The game also features 250-second prizes of $20,000 and 1,050 third prizes of $3,000. So why not make the most of it and try your luck, who knows you are the next winner.
