  • Tickets that are found mutilated, altered, illegible, or incomplete are declared void. The lottery is not at all responsible for stolen, lost, or torn tickets.
  • Winning tickets resulting from any system or terminal malfunction are not liable to be paid by the Florida Lottery.
  • It is mandatory to double-check your numbers and sign the back of your ticket for authentication.
  • You can claim your Florida Lottery prizes before the deadline, i.e. 180 days from the date of the drawing, else your winnings will be fortified.
  • If you are mailing your winning ticket, it is mandatory to complete the claim form and attach a copy of your signed government-issued ID card (including driver's license, U.S. passport, passport issued by a foreign government, social security number, etc.) and send it all.
  • Before mailing the winning ticket, ensure you possess a photocopy of all the documents, including claim form and the winning ticket for a valid proof.
  • It is mandatory for Florida Lottery players to complete the information on the back of their winning ticket and then take it to the retailer for validation.

  • Lottery prizes up to $600 or less should be claimed at any authorized Florida Lottery retailer.
  • Ensure to carry your government-issued photo ID proof and social security card while going for the claiming process.
  • Fill the details at the back of your ticket for complete authentication.

Prizes $600 to $250,000

  • Prize claims ranging from $600 to $250,000 should be claimed by either mailing a claim form or submit the claim via secured drop box at your nearest Florida Lottery District Office.
  • You can download the winner claim form, available on the official website.
  • Complete the Florida Lottery Winner Claim Form and attach your original winning ticket and copies of government-issued photo ID’s including passport, driving license, social security card, etc.

Prizes Above $250,000

  • Prizes above $250,000 should be claimed by mailing the Florida State Lottery Office or submitting the claim via secured drop box at Florida Lottery Headquarters.
  • Ensure to attach original lottery winning ticket and government-issued ID proofs for a smooth claiming process.
