What is Cash5 KICKER?

For an additional $0.50 per wager, you can increase your chances of winning by adding “KICKER” to your ticket. For “KICKER” you need to select 1 additional number that is different from the other selected numbers. Or you can also ask the retailer for a Cash5 “Quick with KICKER” and let the terminal randomly select the numbers for you. There are 5 winning numbers drawn for every Cash5 drawing, however, each Cash5 ticket is printed with 6 different numbers. The sixth number in the far-right position in the ticket is your Kicker number. With an additional $0.50, your KICKER number gets activated (Y) and can be used to match any of the 5 winning numbers drawn. A KICKER number that is not activated and is denoted by “N” cannot be used for a prize match. The overall odds of winning Cash5 with Kicker are 1 in 12.1.
