Double Play
The Nebraska Lottery came into existence in 1992 when the amendment to the state's constitution was approved. It is a member of the Multi-State Lottery Association (MUSL). In 1994, the first Powerball lottery tickets went on sale in the state, it was later followed by Mega Millions in 2010. The funds from Nebraska Lottery ticket sales are allocated to a large number of groups. It includes the Nebraska Environmental Trust Fund, the Compulsive Gamblers Assistance Fund, and the Nebraska State Fair.
