Kansas Lottery Temporarily Suspends In-Person Claims Due To COVID-19

Due to the rise in COVID-19 cases across the state, the Kansas Lottery has made some changes in the claiming process, effective from November 23.

On Monday, Kansas Lottery closed its headquarters to the public and temporarily shut the in-person claims. Players seeking claims to lottery prizes $600 or above must mail-in their claiming process to the lottery.

Currently, there is no information on when will the in-person claims will resume.

To file your claim through the mail, you must fill in the complete information and sign the back of your winning ticket. You also need to attach a winner claim form available at the official lottery site along with the required documents as identity proofs.

You can mail in your Kansas Lottery tickets at the following address:

Kansas Lottery Claims

128 N. Kansas Avenue

Topeka, KS 66603

You need to be very patient while waiting for claims sent through the mail. The claims are processed in the order they are received by the lottery.

Gear up lottery players, start marking your winning lottery numbers!

Hope to see you as a lottery winner soon!
