According to the official Massachusetts Lottery reports, George Morano has come forward to claim mega-prize money after playing the same numbers for the last 30 years.

The lucky winner, Morano, a Quincy resident, won a grand amount of $600,000 after playing the same lottery numbers on six "Mass Cash" tickets bought at a Super Petroleum in the city, as informed by the Massachusetts Lottery. Also, he won an additional $100,000, betting on the same numbers on his "Mass Cash" season ticket, making a grand total of $700,000.

The Mass Lottery officials said, that many times that a player buys several tickets and plays the same numbers. And this often happens with their game "Mass Cash" which offers the best odds of winning a $100,000 prize of any of their game, according to them.

The seventh Mass Cash winning ticket was sold on the same day, at the AM/PM Convenience on Bearses Way in Hyannis.

In the state on Monday, over 770 winning lottery tickets worth at least $600 were claimed or sold, with 21 in Springfield and 23 in Worcester.

According to a database of winning tickets kept by the lottery, a $1 million "50x The Money" winning ticket was purchased at a Fall River Supreme Mart on Thursday. One more $50,000 winning "Power Play Cashword 2021" ticket was purchased from a Dorchester Community Convenience Store.

The biggest prize so far this year was a $16.5 million "Megabucks Doubler" ticket sold at a Cumberland in Ware. This year, the state has also seen the winning of two prizes for $15 million.
