Luck favored a woman in Florida whose betting skills paid her twice, technically four times over when she bought two Mega Millions tickets, both with the Megaplier option.
Susan Fitton, 64, of Boca Raton, was transcended into another world after her bet paid her off fairly well and turned her into a multi-millionaire. After the Mega Millions drawing held on Tuesday, September 14, 2021, the lucky lady became $4 million richer after winning $2 million on two matching tickets with the multiplier add-on.
Moreover, she paid less than $20 for her winning tickets. Both of them comprised three plays each, with the Megaplier add-on option, increasing the cost of one play to $3, totaling up to $18.
The winner had beaten the chances of 1 in 12,607,306 of matching all five white balls but missing the Mega Ball. The Mega Millions winning numbers for September 14 were 4, 13, 19, 63, and 64 with Mega Ball 16, and Megaplier 2.
Lucky Fitton bought her winning tickets at Prip Mart on West Camino Real in Boca Raton. The retailer also received a $10,000 bonus commission for selling two tickets worth $2 million each.
The next Mega Millions jackpot is set to draw on Tuesday, October 5 at 11:00 pm EST. The jackpot is all set to roll at $45 million, with each ticket costing $2.
