Cash4Life rules
- Players must be 18 or more years old to purchase the ticket.
- Players are responsible to ensure the accuracy of their ticket, not the retailers or authorities. In case the ticket is incorrect, it will not be canceled because sales are final and it can’t be voided.
- All games are strictly subjected to Hoosier Lottery Protocols and Indiana Law. By purchasing lottery tickets, players are agreeing to terms and conditions of Hoosier lottery.
- Winners can claim their prize by representing the ticket only, not the Playslip. It is the sole instrument to claim the prize.
History
Hoosier Lottery is governed by Indiana State and is a member of the Multi-State Lottery Association (MUSL). Hoosier lottery referendum was approved by voters in November 1988. They started selling lottery tickets in the following year, in 1989. As per the data released by Hoosier Lottery, total lottery prizes won by players top $9.1 billion till February 2013. While it transferred over $4.2 billion to Indiana state to support the public programs and about $1 billion towards retailer commissions and bonuses. Hoosier lottery launched Cash4Life in April 2013, and it has been contributing since then.
