Rolling Cash5 rules

  • If the total prize liabilities for any combination of each type of wager bets exceed a limit determined by the commission players can’t enforce any further wagers as it would not be accepted for that drawing.
  • All tickets are subjected to validation under procedures to be established by the director before the payment of any winning cash prize.
  • Customer/player is responsible for the accuracy of the ticket including numbers, dates, bet amount, wager type etc, before leaving the retailer. Selling retailers can correct the mistake if you ask for it before leaving the store.

History

Thanks to Senator Ron Mottl who started a campaign to begin lottery in Ohio in 1973. Finally, in 1973, voters approved Ohio Lottery Commission and hence it began. Lottery profits are solely transferred to education. Ohio Rolling Cash 5 started on October 4, 2004, and is contributing to generating education supplement revenues since then. Rolling Cash 5 replaced an existing lottery game named Buckeye 5, a 5-of-5 prize game. It is a 39-ball pool and is drawn nightly, since May 20, 2007.
