About The Commission

Florida Lottery is a government-run organization offering numerous lottery games in the state of Florida. The mission of the Florida Lottery Office of Inspector General is to promote and protect public integrity and accountability within the lottery through audits and investigations that detect frauds, abuse, waste, and administrative violations. It conducts, supervises, or coordinates other activities carried out or financed by the Florida Lottery for the purpose of promoting economy and efficiency in the administration of or preventing and detecting fraud and abuse in its programs and operations. It ensures that an appropriate balance is maintained between audit, investigative, and other accountable activities.
