A lottery winner from British Columbia has ensured that she never forgets the day she won a $13 million Lotto Max jackpot, by inking her arm with a tattoo of the draw date.
Tammy Manning is all set to permanently ink her skin with the draw date, March 19, 2021, after winning the multi-million dollar Lotto Max jackpot from the British Columbia University. The tattoo will be inked by none other than his son, who is a tattoo artist himself.
Manning told the Lottery, that she informed her son about the win, while he was in the middle of a tattoo, to which he plainly answered, “there’s no way Mom - no you didn’t!” Manning had stopped by the Husky/Esso gas station on N E Frontage Road in McBride and grabbed a $20 Quick Pick package, constituting four Lotto Max at $4 per play and a free Extra play. Among those four Lotto Max tickets was the sole jackpot winner March 19, 2021, drawing that matched all seven numbers - 2, 7, 8, 26, 30, 43, and 48, with the Bonus number 25.
Manning stated that she went to the Husky, which she usually visited, and checked the ticket on the self-checker, and suddenly the winning appeared on the screen. All she could scream was a "No", she just couldn't believe her eyes and kept saying "No" to herself!
Manning plans on utilizing her big win by knocking off a few important debts on her list, including paying off her house debts. She's also thinking of purchasing a property in the Caribbean and a sailboat for her and her partner. Rest, but the most important part, she wished to share her winnings with her family.
In a press release, Manning stated that she feels really happy and proud of the fact that she can help and do something with her newfound wealth. For her, this can actually change the entire life, and can retire, and help the close ones.
The Lotto Max drawings are held every Tuesday and Friday after 7:30 p.m. PST.
