Iowa Lottery Sales Arc Downwards!

After topping the budget projections for eight months, the graphs of the Iowa Lottery are observing a downward slope. The officials of Iowa Lottery reported that the orders for COVID-19 by Gov. Kim Reynolds' shuttered almost 95 lottery retail outlets.

The officials reported that the lottery sales were running 1.8 percent ahead of last year's record pace for the first three quarters of 2020. However, from March, the lottery saw a declining effect in sales and interest, following the Coronavirus pandemic.

The officials are still hoping for a better fiscal year with their hope on scratch ticket sales as they believe that as people are social distancing and are at home they will like to place such games for entertainment.
