On December 2, the Mississippi Lottery announced the addition of a new daily drawing Pick-4 style game to its already existing lineup of games, called Cash 4.

The Mississippi Lottery players will now have a shot to bag the $5,000 top prize offered by the Cash 4 game. The tickets for the Cash 4 lottery will go on sale after the game officially begins on January 10, 2022.

According to the Mississippi Lottery Corporation President Jeff Hewit, the Cash 4 game will operate similarly to the Cash 3 drawing game. So, if you are well versed in the Cash 3 lottery, you can definitely pick a winning spot on Cash 4.

Last September Mississippi Lottery had launched its first daily draw game, called Cash 3 and in March it came up with its second game, drawing three times a week.

With Pick 3 and Pick 5 style games already on the list, the players were eagerly waiting for a Pick 4 type of game to complete the list and have increased chances of winning a lottery prize money.

The Cash 4 game will be played by choosing a 4 digit number from 0000 to 9999 or by selecting the Quick Pick option and allowing the computer terminal to randomly select the lottery numbers. The game offers 13 different ways to play and win, including the classic Exact Order and Any Order for $1 and 50 cents. In addition to these the game features "Combo" plays, where a player can wager a larger amount on one ticket for multiple Exact Order plays.

Depending upon the wager or play type selected, the price ranges from $100 to $5000. The ticket for each game costs between 50 cents to $1. The players will also get the option of multi-draw on their tickets for up to seven consecutive drawings including the current drawing by just marking the “multi-draw” on the ticket.

The winning Mississippi tickets up to $599 may be redeemed at official Lottery retailers, while prizes of $600 or more must be claimed at Lottery headquarters in Flowood or by mail.
