An Australian woman just bagged millions of dollars after a psychic told her mother that someone in her family would win a life-changing prize this very year.

Sydney's latest Powerball multi-millionaire is an anonymous Carnes Hill woman who revealed that there was someone who predicted she would crack a huge jackpot prize, but at no point did the psychic mention that it would be a $9.7 million (US $7.5 million) jackpot for the May 27, 2021 drawing.

As soon as the numbers were drawn - 2, 5, 6, 10, 12, 24, and 25, the mother grabbed the only winning ticket for the top prize and confirmed the win with The Lott on Friday.

Speaking to the lottery official, the lucky winner exclaimed, "I am shaking! I am crying!", "I saw on Facebook that someone had won almost $10 million. Then I looked a little closer at the post and realized that the ticket was purchased from the same place that I had bought mine, and I was like, 'Oh my god. Oh my god!'" The winner admitted that she was just too shaken to even tell her husband the incredible news and quietly took time for herself at home gathering the steadiness and calmness to reveal it. As soon as she realized her win, her mind just crossed what the psychic had predicted about her huge winnings.

The winner explained to The Lott, how a Psychic recently told her mom that someone in the family would win the lottery and that they would help the rest of the family. And, "Oh my god, she was right!" Since the psychic also predicted that the prize money would help the family, the winner said that she is planning on working towards the second part of the prophecy.

"It was just yesterday, my sister and I were discussing what we would do if we won the lottery, agreeing that we would buy each other a new car and pay off each other's mortgages," she said. The winner bought the lucky ticket at the Carnes Hill Newsagent on Cowpasture Road in Carnes Hill with $13 (US$10) she had won from another Powerball ticket. The lucky winner plans on spending the newfound wealth to help everyone in her family, the grandparents, parents, siblings, maybe buy herself a pair of nice diamond earrings.
