Fantasy5 rules
- You have to be 18 or older to purchase an Arizona Fantasy 5 ticket. Purchasing lottery tickets for minors is illegal in Arizona state.
- They don’t televise or publish the drawn numbers on the website to determine the winner; rather, the Arizona State Lottery Official audits records of the numbers drawn to determine the winner. Winning ticket holders need to claim their prize within 180 days or it will be voided.
- Odds of winning a prize with EXTRA! is not fixed, thus it deviates.
History
Arizona Lottery is governed by Arizona State and is a member of the Multi-State Lottery Association (MUSL). Public initiative for lottery approval was first passed in 1980. Hence, the first sale from the Arizona Lottery was on July 1, 1988. By the year 2016, the Arizona Lottery transferred over $205 million to fund a variety of state programs. It supports about 12 funds that serve 18 state beneficiaries.
